Scope Of Work

This page outlines the scope of work for our All-In and Edit-Only Plans. This page is NOT an agreement. A formal agreement will be signed by both parties before any work begins. Book a call to learn more.

All-In Plans

All-In plans have flat-rate pricing depending on the length of filming session and crew size. All-In plans are per-use or annual. Film any kind or amount of videos during a filming session, and the editing for any content we film is included. Discounted pricing for annual All-In plans is avaliable.

• Filming Session - We'll capture any video or photo content during a filming session and the editing is included.
• Unlimited Editing - Unlimited editing is limited to content we capture for you during your filming sessions. For as-needed plans, unlimited editing is included for three months. For annual plans, unlimited editing is included for the duration of your agreement.
• All-In Turnaround Times - All primary deliverables (designated by you prior to each filming session) are completed no later than two months after the filming session. Additional Edit Requests beyond the primary deliverables are edited after. (One month for as-needed plans and at any time for annual plans) Additional Edit Requests have an average turnaround time of five days. This is not a guarantee and requests with more complex editing techniques may take longer.
• Motion Graphics - Motion graphics include text animation, logo animations, title screens, caption text animations, and other 2D motion graphics to enhance your videos. Motion graphics do not include 3D animation, visual effects, or other high-fidelity animation techniques. Motion graphics are used to enhance the footage we film for you, and in most cases, motion graphics can not make up the majority of a video. Heavy use of motion graphics may slow down turnaround times, but we strive to deliver your videos as quickly as possible. Capture reserves the right to limit the complexity of motion graphics.

• Video Ideation - Working with you, we'll help your marketing team develop video concepts and ideas. For any scripted content, your marketing team must provide intial scripts and messaging. We'll help you refine them. Your marketing team has the final say on the videos we create, how you use your Filming Sessions and how each video is used.
• Stock Footage + Music - Stock footage includes access to our libraries, such as Artlist, Premiumbeat, Storyblocks, Envato, and others. You may also send us stock footage you have purchased for use in your videos. Final videos containing stock footage or stock music cannot be repurposed by you, as the stock licensing is limited to the edited video we provide. If you need further repurposing, let us handle it—it's included! Your videos may not contain, on average, more than 10 percent stock footage.
• Photos - All-In plans also include photography if needed. Just let us know, and we'll devote part of your filming session to capturing photos.
• File Delivery - All edited videos are delivered electronically via your client portal. You'll receive an .mp4 file for your team to use. Photos are delivered in your requested file type.

• Travel - We are based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Any travel requiring flights or hotels outside of Lower Michigan will be billed at cost + 25%. An estimate will be provided for you to approve before any travel.
• Add-Ons - We offer optional add-ons like professional voiceover and talent, and rented locations. Book a call to learn more.
• Commitment - All-In plans are per-use or custom annual plans.
• Invoices + Payment - Per-use is billed 50 percent at the start of the project and 50 percent after completion of filming sessions. Annual plans are billed monthly.

Edit-Only Plans

Edit-Only plans are based on turnaround times.

• Unlimited Videos + Editing - Unlimited Videos + Editing is limited to content you provide to us via our online file-sharing system.
• Turnaround Times - Turnaround times start once all files have been uploaded to our file sharing system and a video edit request has been submitted and reviewed. Turnaround times only include business days Monday to Friday and excludes US federal holidays. Due to the nature of video editing, turnaround times are not a guarantee, but the large majority of requests are completed in the timeframes noted below. If an edit request does not fall into the listed turnaround times (for example, a special use-case video), the Producer will provide an estimated turnaround time for that edit request.

• Edit Requests - Each edit request must have some direction on how you'd like your video edited. You'll provide this through our online portal. Your video producer will review and clarify your request if needed. We allow you to submit multiple edit requests or videos at the same time but each edit request will be treated separately in terms of turnaround times. Edit requests will be worked on one at a time until approved by you. Capture reserves the right to designate turnaround times of Edit Requests.
• Revisions - Revisions are unlimited. Minor revisions cause no delay in the next Edit Request.Major Revisions, while rare, are treated as a new Edit Request.

• Stock Footage + Music - Stock footage includes access to our libraries, such as Artlist, Storyblocks, Envato, and others. You may also send us stock footage you have purchased for use in your videos. Final videos containing stock footage or stock music cannot be repurposed by you, as the stock licensing is limited to the edited video we provide. If you need further repurposing, let us handle it—it's included! Your videos may not contain, on average, more than 10% stock footage.‍
• File Delivery - All edited videos are delivered electronically via our online file-sharing system. You'll receive an .mp4 file for your team to use.

• Add-Ons - We offer optional add-ons like professional voiceover recordings for your scripts, and thumbnail design for long-form videos. Book a call to learn more.

• Commitment - Edit-Only agreements are for 12 months and can be paused for up to two months.
• Invoices + Payment - Billed monthly, auto-pay.
